Meadville Lombard Theological School

About

Meadville Lombard Theological School, a Unitarian Universalist graduate theological institution in the South Loop of Chicago, is deeply committed to educating future liberal religious leaders to bring into the world the values of justice, equity and compassion. Meadville Lombard's innovative Contextual Learning model--learning by doing--combines intensive classwork in low-residency curricula with integrated internships for real-life experience and immediate reflection. Students learn and serve where they live across the country and beyond, and travel to MLTS' Chicago campus twice a year for in-person coursework. Collaborative learning in Student Cohort system is also an essential element of Meadville Lombard education. Students cultivate deep bonds with each other and with faculty, which continue to serve as their network of support and professional collaboration throughout their career as spiritual leaders.
