Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, founded in 1913, is a graduate seminary committed to the education of men and women for ministry leadership. Our evangelical heritage commits us to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the authority of Scripture for informing mission and ministry in the world. The seminary is a community of faith, theological inquiry, and worship and service, preparing persons for ordained ministries and ministry leadership in the wider Church. The seminary has a Baptist heritage and welcomes students from all denominations and Christian traditions. Graduate level courses are offered in Lisle, the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, the South Side of Chicago and online.
